BAE Systems Tech Supp Analyst I in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Description

Provides technical support to mechanical, manufacturing and optical engineering staff and their managers. Knowledge of CAD tools, for example: Creo Parametric, AutoCAD, NX, Solidworks etc. Provide software installations, software configuration setups, performance analysis, management of software systems, and problem solving for challenging issues. Performs analysis of data to extract information, makes recommendations for problem solving and improving efficiencies, and develops reports to support decisions in best practices. Minor scripting or programming capabilities required for automation of IT and engineering processes.

The candidate may work remotely from home about 50%. On site work required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Related Bachelor of Science Degree from certified institution or 5 years of related experience providing IT support for engineering applications.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

General knowledge of information systems, roles, standards, etc. commonly used by mechanical engineers

Strong contributor to problem solving efforts, project planning, collaboration, and execution, and reporting of information

Able to travel independently and infrequently to U.S. engineering sites

The ability to gain security clearance

C programming skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $61820 - $105050

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
