Overview: Fredrikson is seeking to hire an associate attorney in our Data Protection, Cyber Security and Technology + Data Group with 2-5 years of experience with a law firm or in-house. Ideal Candidates Will Have: 1.2-5 years of experience with a law firm and/or in-house. 2.Practice primarily focused on data privacy compliance and security incident response/planning a plus. 3.Deep familiarity with, and experience advising companies regard, comprehensive privacy laws, including the CCPA, CPA, VCDPA, CTDPA, GDPR, etc. 4.CIPP certification preferred. 5.Experience drafting and reviewing data processing agreements, information security agreements, software, SaaS, and IP and IT license, development and services agreements. 6.Strong academic background. 7.J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School. 8.Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to promptly get admitted in the state of Minnesota.
