Position Purpose

As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you will play an important role in meeting recruitment goals across the enterprise during a peak hiring season. The ideal candidate will bring with them 2+ years of recruitment experience with a focus on identifying passive talent, highly competed for talent and talent in hard to fill markets in a time sensitive recruiting environment. Working as part of a sourcing team and/or directly supporting a Talent Acquisition Partner, the Talent Acquisition Sourcer will take direction from the TA Team Leads aligned to the specialized, high-volume recruitment teams of Retail Sales and Field Services. Key skills for success in this role include drive, creativity and a sense of urgency. This contract is expected to be 3-6 months in duration.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with and support Talent Acquisition Partners (full cycle recruiters) to develop an understanding of the candidate need and talent landscape in various geographies.

  • Source candidates leveraging a multi-channel approach including utilizing job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc), referrals, ATS (Workday), CRM (Phenom) and other creative sourcing strategies.

  • Manage pipeline of candidates for various locations and regions across the U.S. and communicate with candidates regularly over the phone and via email.

  • Identify qualified candidates through competency-based phone screens, while accurately representing Sleep Number.

  • Make candidate recommendations to Talent Acquisition Partners and/or Hiring Managers.

  • Manage CRM and ATS to ensure information and data is accurate and up to date.

  • Participates in ad hoc talent focused projects as needed.

Position Requirements

  • 2+ year experience in high-volume talent acquisition, corporate recruiting and/or staffing agency preferably in a role requiring significant sourcing passive talent, highly competed for talent and talent in hard to fill markets

  • Prior experience staffing for retail store locations, sales professional, delivery drivers or technicians and/or corporate roles highly preferred

  • Experinece recruiting for non-exempt talent preferred

  • Experience supporting multiple locations, regions or geographies in the U.S.

  • Proven research skills using LinkedIn and Indeed is preferred, experience sourcing in other social networks and other sourcing channels is highly preferred

  • Experience operating effectively in ATS and CRM systems (Workday and Phenom preferred respectively)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to appropriately tailor messages to one's audience

  • Strong planning & organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently to meet deadlines

  • Understanding of legal and compliance aspects of interviewing and hiring

  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal and external partners with a customer focused approach

  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures

Working Conditions

  • Position is available on a fully remote basis. No in-office work is required

  • Contracting need covers peak season. Duration of need expected to be 3-6 months with potential for extension
