National Marrow Donor Program Systems Administrator- Remote/Hybrid-2400003Y in Minneapolis, Minnesota

POSITION SUMMARY:Please apply online using a laptop or desktop computer.This position is responsible for the administration and operational management of NMDP End-user computing Infrastructure systems and services. Working with end-user computing system engineers, performs system administration, operations, incident, and performance management activities. This position can be remote (US) or hybrid. #LI-Remote #LI-HybridCheck out our video Saving Lives: It's the Best Job EverACCOUNTABILITIES:Provides daily administration and operation management for assigned group systems and services.This could include administration of Windows and Apple device management systems including Microsoft SCCM & Intune, Office365, JAMF, VMware Horizon (VDI), Terminal Servers, and Group Policy.Assists System Engineers with analysis, evaluation, testing, and implementation of existing and new systems and services.Configure virtual systems, storage, network, and other group systems & services as directed by Systems EngineeringEnsure patching and management of IT systems is up to date (where applicable) to meet security and stability requirements.Introduces and integrates process improvements for the Service DeskProvides software asset management support for Engineering team which includes purchasing, documenting, and managing software assets like licenses, keys, and binaries.Understands the disaster recovery processes for group IT systems and collaborates with Engineering on DR processes.Utilize environment monitoring tools to respond to alerts on infrastructure events. Responds to all incidents and events within expected SLA.Provide support and problem management activities for hardware and software issues.Support incoming requests that cannot be resolved by the Tier 1 Service Desk and/or Tier 2 Deskside support.Provides ticket queue management for all group incidents, problems, and change activities utilizing ITSM tools.Provides on-call support on a rotating basis for system problems.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of :Understanding of end user computing in a large environment.Ability to support and configure computing devices (desktop, laptop), mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.Knowledge and experience in the installation, support, and maintenance of Windows and Mac computers.Knowledge and experience in the installation, support, and maintenance of productivity and communication software like Office 365, Cisco Webex, and Web TeamsAbility to:Strong interpersonal and organizational skillsDemonstrated success in working both independently and in a team environment.Written and oral communication skillsAnalyze situations and understand how the business is impacted.Work individually and with others to solve issues and problems.Ability to manage multiple and rapidly changing priorities.Education and/or Experience:Associates Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
