POSITION OVERVIEW This role is an exciting opportunity to make an impact while building a strong Sourcing foundation. As the program lead for Supplier Diversity at General Mills, you will partner with business and cross-functional teams, Regional & Global Sourcing partners, and key external stakeholders to elevate and advance our Supplier Diversity program. This role will provide opportunities to drive and implement strategy, create business intimacy, and deepen knowledge of core Sourcing processes. This position reports directly to the Manager, Supplier Management. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead General Mills' enterprise Supplier Diversity program, including: Steward General Mills' Supplier Diversity spend globally, including: Ensure North America region hits recommended growth targets Partner with Brazil to establish growth goals Identify global growth opportunities and partner with Global Sourcing regions to establish and launch Supplier Diversity Program Lead Supplier Diversity Champions to integrate Supplier Diversity into key categories and grow diverse supplier spend within Global Sourcing Partner deeply with Sourcing teams to build a roster of diverse suppliers who meet category and business needs across the globe Oversee Supplier Diversity data, which is reported externally in the Global Responsibility Report and to key GMI Customers Identify ways to integrate Supplier Diversity by partnering across regions, platforms, and brand teams Create opportunities to share successes internally and externally through data and storytelling Manage and grow General Mills relationships with key external affiliates in partnership with Supplier Management, Manager Lead key events for Supplier Diversity, internally and externally MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of related experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 6 years Project management and/or process improvement skills Experience influencing and informing stakeholders internally and externally Experience working in and having comfort with ambiguity Expertise in analyzing data, development of key metrics, establishing trends, project management and reporting Knowledge and experience tracking and reporting activities within large, complex, multifaceted programs and associated project plans Demonstrated experience working with supply chain functions and procedures PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous Sourcing experience such as strategic sourcing process, supplier negotiations and influence, supplier diversity experience, or financial experience Having a broad perspective with the ability to "connect the dots", utilize strategic thinking, and demonstrates curiosity Decision Making skills, learns where and how to get information, and asks for help when needed Passion for Force for Good and driving a positive change for people and planet! ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS General Mills has a strong preference for an individual based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area Applications for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $79500.00 - $119400.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences perfo mance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
