The Opportunity

Our location in Minneapolis, MN, currently has an opportunity for a Senior National Account Manager supporting the Target Pediatric Account.

What You'll Work On

  • Sell Abbott Nutrition Pediatric portfolio to Target maximizing sales growth and profit. Utilize competitive line reviews to drive assortment recommendations.

  • Deliver Net Sales growth and share objectives.

  • Manage overall customer P&L and deliver financial targets. Effectively negotiate trade deals to drive profitable business and positive ROI. Manage Trade Budget, Rate and Drive Net Sales Realization.

  • Responsible for managing accurate sales and shipment forecast.

  • Foster strong customer relations with Buyer, Assistant Buyer, and Marketing Team to ensure a long-term JBP plan that promotes sales growth.

  • Own monthly/quarterly business reviews with customer providing guidance on business performance vs. plan and develop gap closure recommendations as needed.

  • Develop and deliver team objectives, goals, strategies and measures.

  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Actively lead, engage and work with internal Abbott Nutrition functions, peers & colleagues to drive business results.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 6+ years direct sales experience preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry with increasing account responsibility.

  • Experience with Target, Target JBP ownership & SBP Tool a bonus

  • Maintain an impactful presence and be comfortable with regular interactions with internal and client senior level management.

  • Effective interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written.)

  • Ability to analyze data/market trends to effectively develop presentations, provide recommendations and forecast.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Retail Link, and Nielsen

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
