The right candidate can be located anywhere within the US and work virtually. This role is open due to the rapid growth of our dynamic New England TAAS team. The New England Technical Accounting Advisory Services (TAAS) team engages with clients ranging from pre-revenue startups to public companies in a wide variety of industries, including high technology, life sciences, healthcare, digital assets, manufacturing and distribution, professional services, financial institutions, and cannabis.

  • As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex accounting issues from scoping to execution
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems
  • Partner directly with the executive team to assist and make decisions in the best interest of the growth of the client and practice
  • Actively participate in executing the current pipeline and proactively seek new opportunities to bolster pipeline and accomplish growth objectives for the team
  • Using a broad range of tools and techniques extract insights from industry and sector t ends to apply to current and target client
  • Seek and identify solutions to best serve the customer as a whole and at the engagement levels
  • Build and develop professional network, both internally and externally
  • Continually communicate with clients to set expectations, timeline, and status of engagements
  • Develop personalized learning plan and career goals that best suit your career trajectory

Qualifications Successful candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required
  • CPA or actively pursuing certification
  • 2+ years of experience in audit and/or accounting, with heavy US GAAP exposure, at a professional services organization (preferably a national public accounting/advisory firm)
  • Experience in working on project teams related to one or more of the following areas: accounting and finance optimization, audit readiness, complex accounting analysis and consultation, new accounting standard implementation
  • Strong background with application of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and, secondarily, general familiarity with international financial reporting standards
  • Exposure to complex accounting and financial reporting matters, including public company and/or SEC-related experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a self-starter mentality
  • Eagerness to learn with an open-minded attitude

Additional Information For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $78,840 to $167,130. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. #LI-JM2 #LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid
