Present trial concepts and details to patients, participate in the informed consent process, and enroll patients on protocol. Coordination of patient care in compliance with protocol requirements. Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, documentation entry, and reporting. In collaboration with the physician, review patients for changes in condition, adverse events, concomitant medication use, protocol compliance, response to study drug, and thoroughly document findings. Maintains regulatory documents in compliance with US Oncology Research and applicable regulations. Participate in monitoring and auditing activities, all required training and educational programs, and responsible for education and training of clinic staff regarding clinical research. Oversee physician orders to assure protocol compliance is maintained. Communicate with physician regarding dose modification, study requirements, and adverse event reporting. Float to other clinics as requested or assigned. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program Current MN Licensure is Required Current CPR Certification is Required Five years of experience required, Oncology Experience Preferred Current or Pending OCN Certification Preferred This individual must be able to interpret protocols, informed consent documents, and regulatory documents.
