About the role: A Quality Engineer plays an integral role in the sustainability of Lexington Manufacturing. This collaborative position is dedicated to enhancing the quality systems and fostering continuous improvement and growth of the organization. This role involves maintaining and advancing current systems and documentation, ensuring customer feedback is integrated into all quality decisions while adhering to cost and scheduling constraints. This position will report to our Quality Supervisor and is in office at our Coon Rapids, MN location. Job Requirements: Prior manufacturing experience with blueprint reading is preferred but not required Bachelor's Degree in a quality or manufacturing discipline, and/or 3+ years' experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to communicate effectively to gather information from a diverse group and assemble reasonable solutions. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required with the ability to communicate across various levels of the organization and customers. Able to use computer systems software including Access, excel, Global Shop, AutoCAD, SPC software, and PowerPoint. Able to use complex inspection tools. Requires knowledge of industry standards and quality assurance best practices including statistical control, ISO standards, auditing, and documentation control. Able to write reports, business correspondence, instructions, training, and procedures. Self-motivated, work well independently, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
