The Family Partnership is seeking a PRIDE Therapist to provide psychoeducational services and trauma-informed therapy to adult and youth survivors of sex trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault. BENEFITS: $1,000 hiring bonus after 3 months of employment! $26.44 - $28.85 per hour Generous Paid Time Off 10 Paid Holidays Strong emphasis on employee self-care and work-life balance Medical, dental and vision benefits Company-paid life insurance and long-term disability Agency-sponsored retirement savings plan JOB SUMMARY: As part of the continuum of services offered by The Family Partnership s PRIDE program, this position provides psychoeducational services and trauma-informed therapy to adult and youth survivors of sex trafficking, domestic violence and sexual assault. To do so, the PRIDE Therapist implements harm reduction practices when working with clients and upholds the core beliefs of the PRIDE program, as created by survivors: 1) Prostitution is NOT a victimless crime; 2) A non-judgmental approach makes it easier to access services; 3) Everyone has a right to a life without violence; 4) Treatment and recovery looks different for everyone. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Therapeutic Function Evaluates clients to determine appropriateness for agency services. Provides strength-based, culturally sensitive outpatient therapy to a wide variety of clients in both group and individual treatment modalities. Develops and implements effective treatment planning with clients. Provides services based upon treatment plan utilizing individual, couple, group, family counseling, etc., strategies. Refers, advocates for, and follows up with clients in need of additional community support and services. Support Services Collaborates with PRIDE team to ensure effective delivery of services and quality case management (e.g., support groups, shelter placements, and referrals). Provides crisis intervention services for clients in emergency situations. Facilitates safety plan development with clients and collaborate with PRIDE team to ensure they are updated and reviewed as necessary. Facilitates support groups at PRIDE Lake Street site and other community locations as assigned. Completes Rule 25 Assessments for clients seeking chemical dependency treatment. Transports and meets clients in the community and maintains a flexible schedule to meet client needs. Educates PRIDE clients on the value of mental health services, including psychoeducational presentations on mental health services, trauma, ACEs, executive functioning and positive parenting behaviors. Supports quality case management by providing clinical insight and collaboration with the PRIDE team. Provides executive functioning coaching to assist clients with self-regulation and goal attainment. Program Administration Enters accurate documentation and records program outcomes in the agency s databases within 48 hours of service provision and in accordance with the agency s policy. Prepares materials and activities for group sessions arriving 30 minutes prior to group start time to ensure proper set up of group environment. Submits Diagnostic Assessments and Treatment plans for review a signature from the clinical supervisor.
