Apply for Job Job ID361847 LocationTwin Cities Job FamilySupplemental Employee Full/Part TimePart-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Job Code0001 Employee ClassCivil Service Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job About the Job The project manager will be responsible for the administrative and logistical organization of the study, including interactions with the Veterans Affairs, rehabilitation centers in Duluth, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, the University of Miami, as well as University services such as the CTI regulatory specialist, and the University of Minnesota and VA institutional review boards. The project and data manager will prepare and maintain the study materials, the Manual of Operations and Procedures, and the Study Regulatory Binder (UMN Florence eBinder). Training will be provided. In collaboration with the UMN CTSI, the project and data manager will be responsible to post information on relevant websites and social media, finalize and share flyers; post information on the ClinTrial.gov website, on CTSI's StudyFinder and Research Match; contacting clinics to place flyers; update the study information on the Brain Body Mind website (in collaboration with our admin staff). The greatest part of the project and data manager's tasks will be to manage the recruitment and enrollment by working with Dr. Van de Winckel (Principal Investigator at the University of Minnesota), Dr. Morse (University of Miami), Dr. Looft (VA), as well as the team at the University of Texas Rio Grande, rehabilitation centers for adults with spinal cord injury Duluth, and SCI community organizations for the distribution of recruitment information to participants and follow-up with potential candidates for screening. The project and data manager will be the primary point of contact for participants and assist with technical and logistical questions, and direct other questions to the Principal Investigator or study team as needed. The project and data manager will track and monitor all of the participant activities and handle the scheduling or rescheduling of assessment sessions and meetings. The project and data manager will also be responsible for managing and checking the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of data in REDCap and the online Box account and reach out to the research staff and/or participants if needed. Qualifications All required qualifications must be on application materials. Required qualifications: Experience with working with adults with spinal cord injury Be detailed-oriented Have integrity Have good communication skills Familiarity with working with rehabilitation teams Familiarity with Excel Willingness to learn RedCap, Institutional Review Boards, and other regulatory processes Preferred qualifications: Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist Has some experience with administrative and logistical organization of research studies, but this can also easily be taught Prior experience working with remote teams and/or multiple sites About the Department The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota was created more than 50 years ago in response to a legislative mandate to train primary care physicians.
