Let's Redefine Possible SUMMARY Mortenson is seeking a Licensed Electrical Journeyman with commercial/industrial experience including MV terminations, AC/DC electrical systems, and underground work for substations. Must hold current Journeyman Electrician License in any of the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, or Wyoming. SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit utilizing various hand tools Safely utilize hand and power tools after proper training (Drills, Crimpers, Cutters, etc.) Lift, position, and fasten objects Prepare, handle, and supply of materials and tools be used by electrical trades Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment Work under immediate and close supervision according to standard instructions and established procedures Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Pull DC and MV wire All other duties as assigned Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Limited ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, blueprints and schematic drawings, and procedure manuals Ability to work with tools, such as power and non-powered hand tools Willing and able to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions Ability to work safely with electrical equipment Mentor and train other team members on your crews Knowledge of working with HV/MV/LV AC/DC electrical systems Ability to handle materials that can weigh up to 200Ibs Strong teamwork orientation Positive attitude and professional customer service skills Detail oriented Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED (required) Electrical Journeyman License (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of Electrical experience (required) Current driver's license ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS A. Ability to frequently work in heat and other weather conditions B. Frequently crouch, kneel, squat, climb C. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs D. Frequently reach high and low places E. Ability to see, hear, balance, and review job sites F. Ability to stand and walk throughout work day G.
