Wells Fargo Lead Business Execution Consultant in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Business Enablement team. The Commercial Banking ("CB") Business Enablement teams works with CB senior leadership team to develop the business' short, medium, and long-term strategy, partners with business teams and functional areas (both within Commercial Banking and across Wells Fargo) to identify, scope, size, and decision business opportunities and develop solutions, and leads the delivery of CB's most significant, complex, or cross-business strategic priorities. The team also serves as a thought partner and counsel to Commercial Banking's senior leaders.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance

  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations

  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide vision, direction, and expertise to the product or program team, senior leadership and stakeholders in the delivery of innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale, cross organizational in nature and align to Enterprise and Commercial Banking strategic objectives

  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with broad knowledge in more than one of the following areas: commercial lending, regulatory reporting, data and analytics, product management, business process management, and commercial lending technology

  • Ability to manage multiple high risk / high priority initiatives with high complexity/high dependencies simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills with specific ability to communicate effectively at executive level regarding status and escalations, both written and verbally.

  • Prior experience and proven track record working on large scale, intense transformation/change management initiatives across a wide range of functions, including data, reporting, and technology.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.

  • Energetic contributor who is passionate, flexible, conscientious and has a demonstrated ability to work in matrixed environments.

  • Develops an independent point of view and can lead teams through problem solving.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Willingness to work on-site in one of the listed locations
