Manufacturing/Test Engineer (LabVIEW)

Job Description

We are a Minnesota-based Test Systems Integrator specializing in Software Development and Test Systems Design. We are looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Systems Engineer with extensive experience in developing LabVIEW test systems and solutions. This individual will act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team and will also take on a lead role providing mentorship and coaching to other employees.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality LabVIEW software

• Work directly with clients and manage client relationships

• Perform medical device validation

• Define project requirements

• Work with a wide range of hardware systems

• Integrate software and hardware

• Deploy systems at client locations, primarily around the Twin Cities, MN

• Create documentation for validation and verification

Essential Skills

• 8+ years of experience working with LabVIEW

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Willingness to adapt LabVIEW programming style to company guidelines

• Experience with systems engineering, test engineering, and manufacturing test systems

• Experience with National Instruments TestStand and LabVIEW Development for Manufacturing Test Systems

• Experience with medical device validation

• Mentoring and coaching skills

• Customer-facing experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Engineering or technical experience , especially in electrical engineering or physics

• Experience in the medical device, military/aerospace, or automotive industries

• LabVIEW Certified Developer (CLD) or LabVIEW Certified Architect (CLA)

• Experience with validation documentation

• TestStand experience

• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as SQL, C/C++, Python, NodeJS, C#, and Java
