Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Internal Auditor. This role will prepares documentation of business policies, processes, and controls. Drafts analysis and evaluation of internal control environment and provides impactful recommendations. Documents actions, results, and conclusions. Works with outside auditors to help reconcile discrepancies and support the external auditing function. Your Responsibilities: Assess the effectiveness of financial controls, identify potential risks, and evaluate related controls. Organize and manage audit request lists efficiently and follow up in a timely manner. Analyze, challenge, and evaluate accounting documentation and data critically. Document actions, results, and conclusions with clarity. Research GAAP applications related to specific accounting situations Offer impactful recommendations to management based on best practices and accounting standards. Develop, maintain, and test business policies, processes, and controls. Assist in the external audit process and support other projects as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. You Must Have: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with 1-3 years of experience in Audit and/or Accounting. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous approach. Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel). Demonstrated excellence in spelling, grammar, and overall communication. Strong interpersonal skills and a forward-thinking mindset. Effective time management skills.
