Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
In this position, you will perform a variety of tasks to produce print proofs according to customer specifications. About 60% of the work will be in the print room, performing tasks such as loading paper into print machines, changing ink, trimming excess paper from proofs, and verifying that proofs meet basic quality checks. The remaining 40% of the role involves making proofs using a MAC computer, pulling PDFs into the system, and adjusting proofs/prints between 24 and 48 inches for customer work orders. You will follow a checklist of tasks to ensure products meet client standards. Additionally, you will conduct visual inspections for pass/fail specifications of prints, troubleshoot and adjust machines as needed.
Responsibilities
Load paper into print machines.
Change ink in print machines.
Trim excess paper from proofs.
Verify proofs meet basic quality checks.
Create proofs using a MAC computer.
Pull PDFs into the system and adjust proofs/prints between 24 and 48 inches.
Complete checklist tasks to ensure products meet client standards.
Conduct visual inspections for pass/fail specifications of prints.
Troubleshoot and adjust machines as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience in printing or as a printing press operator.
Ability to use a MAC computer.
High attention to detail.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Graphics experience would be a plus.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
