Job Objective: The E-Commerce Photographer position is an entry-level role performing a variety of duties to achieve our common goal of selling donated items online for our retail store teams. Essential Functions: Take clear and accurate photographs of the items for sale in such detail and number to provide the potential customer with enough information about the item's appearance, condition, size, color, shape, composition, brand, model, size, and any other descriptive detail. Observes items closely to locate any marks on an item for sale, such as scuff marks, maker's marks, or hidden logos. Is able to assess determining information such as the type and function of the item, fair market value, eligibility for vintage/antique status, brand, potential buyers, whether the item is genuine, and other details in order to contribute toward an educated assessment as to the item's salability in the online marketplace. Ability to utilize a digital camera, flash, lightbox, backdrop, and/or studio lighting in order to create well-lit images with non-distracting backgrounds that have proper exposure, color, lighting, and tint. Familiar knowledge with common computer-based image editing software to be ablet to crop, rotate, edit color, lighting, and tint as required to present a clear and accurate item image. Maintains established productivity goals without loss of quality of work. Facilitate the flow of goods to the store listing stage. Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly manner with clean-up activities performed throughout the day. Record assigned metrics and complete daily reports. Assist with all departmental functions, as need including shipping, sorting product, listing product, storing product, and testing product.
