job summary:

As a sit down forklift operator, you will unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and load them onto assigned locations. You will also locate and move products on pallets or create pallets for storage or shipment Daily tasks also include Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies.

location: Minneapolis, MN

salary: $21/hr

work hours: 7:30AM to 4:00PM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

skills:

• Build, wrap, sort pallets

• Operate RF scanner

• Load, unload materials & equipment

• Operate hand truck/dolly

dress code:

Must have 1+ year of forklift and ERP experience! Through the utilization of the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP), prepare and process orders, make sure proper transportation methods are applied and confirm timely delivery. Verify production order outputs to guarantee accurate paperwork transactions. Assist with material handling duties for production as needed. Using a forklift, load and unload deliveries of materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and distribute to the warehouse appropriately. Organize, and maintain inventory and storage within the warehouse through using First In, First Out inventory concepts. Examine incoming and outgoing shipments for quality issues.
