Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Development Engineer in the Services industry, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Development Engineer, you will be tasked with the creation, development, and implementation of ETL workflows, data processing tasks, and API integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to comprehend data requirements and provide tailored solutions.

• Creating and implementing ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to cater to business and data processing needs.

• Integrating and processing data from various sources including database tables, APIs, and CSV, EXCEL, TXT, XML, JSON files, etc.

• Developing, optimizing, and maintaining TSQL, stored procedures, views, and functions to aid ETL operations and datasets for Power BI reports.

• Crafting custom ETL components and scripts employing C# and Python for advanced data processing tasks.

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining data model, database schema, tables, views, indexes, etc.

• Documenting data workflows, mapping, and technical specifications.

• Implementing data validations and cleansing routines to ensure high data quality.

• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data integration/SQL Agent jobs. Requirements • The candidate must have at least 7 years of experience as a Development Engineer in the detail-oriented services industry.

• Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is a must.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in working with APIs (Application Programming Interface) is required.

• The candidate should be adept at using REST API.

• Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) is essential.

• Mastery of SQL (Structured Query Language) is required.

• The candidate should be familiar with JSON (JavaScript Object Notation).

• Proficiency in C# (Sharp) programming language is necessary.

• The candidate should have experience in Python programming.

• Knowledge and experience in T-SQL (Transact-SQL) is required.
