Aerotek ENTRY LEVEL Furniture Installer in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Growing manufacturing company seeking to fill Furniture installs for their team!

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual for the position of Entry-Level Furniture Installer at our company. As an Entry-Level Furniture Installer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and assembly of various types of furniture for residential and commercial clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in the furniture installation industry.

  • The position is on 1st shift, (7am to 3:30pm or so), and the position is based in Minneapolis.

  • You and the team will drive to the different commercial office buildings to install and assemble the furniture.

  • All of the locations are centrally located around the Twin Cities area, so no long commutes.

  • Plus, the work is all indoors, so no dealing with the brutal MN weather and elements!

  • This is a long-term position, and the company has great benefits!

  • Within 4 months you are eligible for a permanent position, and the company offers you 2 weeks of PTO to start, along with production bonuses, great medical/retirement benefits, and a raise upon conversion. (so a guaranteed raise within 4-5 months of starting)

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools commonly used in furniture assembly.

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and assembly diagrams.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements and alignments.

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy furniture pieces and work in a physically demanding environment.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Prior experience in furniture installation or assembly is a plus, but not required.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if driving company vehicles).

Employee Value Proposition (EVP)

  • Contractor is provided with a uniform right when they start on contract, 3 pants and 3 shirts in 30 days and then 2 more full outfits after that

  • $0.50-$0.75 raise once hired on and receive an annual raise every May when they are hired on perm

  • Weekly accrual for vacation

  • 2 weeks of PTO

  • Great health care benefits (client says approximate value of the benefits is $5/hr)

  • 5-8% quarterly bonus after being with the company for 1+ year (last quarter was 7.9%, which equates to about $1.50/hr)

-$70 boot reimbursement yearly (save your receipt while on contract, and they will reimburse you when you are hired on perm

Note: This is an entry-level position, and on-the-job training will be provided. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the furniture installation industry.
