About the role: CLA is looking to hire a Director, Total Rewards & HRIS for our Talent Solutions practice. This is a remote opportunity. The Director, Total Rewards and HRIS is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition programs, and HRIS for clients. You will play a pivotal role for our clients in shaping the overall employee experience in their organizations by leveraging data-driven insights and people analytics to inform strategic HR decisions. This role works closely with Principals, Signing Directors, and key partners within CLA to drive new business, ensure exceptional client service and delivery, and partners with Talent Solutions leadership to achieve team and organizational goals. This role is responsible for managing a team. As a Director, Total Rewards & HRIS, you will: Client Engagement, Delivery, and Relationship Management: leads consulting engagements for total rewards and HRIS, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Conducts client needs assessments, develops project plans, and delivers customized solutions. Provides ongoing support and advises clients, ensuring effective adoption and optimization of programs. Cultivates and manages strong client relationships, ensuring deep understanding of their needs and delivers tailored total rewards and HRIS solutions that exceed their expectations. Acts as the primary point of contact for engagements, maintaining regular communication to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues promptly. Develops and implements strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention, including regular performance reviews and proactive engagement initiatives. Collaborates with clients to identify opportunities for additional services or solutions, driving business growth and expanding CLA's footprint within existing accounts. Total Rewards Strategy: develops and implements comprehensive total rewards strategies for CLA clients that are aligned to each organization's goals. Oversees the design and implementation of management and executive compensation structures, long and short-term incentive plans, deferred compensation plans, and conducts market pricing studies and FLSA reviews. Ensures client's benefits programs are competitive, cost-effective, and meets their needs. Develops initiatives to enhance employee wellness, recognition, and engagement programs. HRIS Strategy: strategically manage and improve the client's HRIS, implement new functionality and business processes, and improve effectiveness and efficiency. Measure HRIS functionality against client's organizational needs and create a roadmap for systemically supporting a comprehensive range of HR disciplines including benefits, compensation, talent management, and workforce planning. Provide leadership on HRIS-related projects, including data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. Ensures HRIS supports HR operations and strategic initiatives effectively. Compliance and Reporting: ensures all compensation, benefits, and HRIS practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations for clients. Business Development: identify and pursue seamless internal and new external business opportunities in the areas of total rewards and HRIS. Develop proposals, presentations, and materials to attract new clients. Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Represent CLA at industry conferences, networking events, and other business development activities. Team Leadership: lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Responsible for managing the team's charge hour budgets, revenue goals, the accuracy and quality of project deliverables, scoping of work, and the client experience. Promotes communication and collaboration within the team and across CLA. What you will need: Proven experience of 10 years + of progressive experience in total rewards management, compensation, benefits, and HR Technology assessment and deployment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, HRIS, and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience with leading HRIS implementations or upgrades. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. *Strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into actionable total rewards strategies for clients. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth organization. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management. Bachelor's Degree (required) or Master's Degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance. Preferred professional certifications: SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP, Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office products Experience with the following HRIS is preferred: ADP Run, ADP Workforce Now, Gusto, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle Fusion Cloud, and Rippling.
