We are looking for a qualified Digital Marketing Director to take the lead in developing successful, long-term digital marketing strategies for our company. As a Digital marketing director, you should have in-depth digital marketing experience and a passion for digital technologies. You will oversee a team of strong digital marketing managers and specialists and partner with Product Marketing leadership to drive digital channel health, and ensure strategic leverage of the channel.
Responsibilities
Build Bio-Techne’s digital marketing roadmap to align with Product Marketing strategies & channel needs.
Build, lead and manage a team of Digital Marketing Managers and Specialist
Oversee all digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, Social Media to achieve Product Marketing results
Set, digital marketing KPIs and monitor team performance, ensuring digital marketing campaign and organizational objectives are met
Align with Product Marketing leadership on content strategy optimization opportunities to drive digital marketing success
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital technology , best practices, and google algorithm changes. Provide leadership teams with macro-changes and strategic areas of focus to stay ahead of competition as it relates to these areas.
Communicate on a regular basis with all relevant stakeholders including Marketing & IT teams to ensure digital marketing efforts are fully aligned
Ownership of digital marketing resource & annual budget planning
Track and measure performance across all digital marketing channels, review teams priorities and propose optimization initiatives to maximize ROI
Develop a team culture that constantly strives to discover and adopt emerging technologies, digital innovations, and new platforms and systems to optimize organizational productivity and effectiveness
Qualifications
8+ years of experience Digital Marketing
Experience in recruiting, developing and managing a team of digital marketers
Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function
Direct experience with SEO/SEM, and Google Analytics.
Strong understanding of technical SEO
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Strong communication skills with senior leadership
Experience working with and driving consensus across cross-departmental teams
Proven track record of effective budget planning and management
BSc degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field
Life science related background preferred
