The CoTIPP lab has several ongoing research interests which require data entry support. The first primary project will involve clinical chart review for the Early Psychosis Intervention Network (EPINET) Project. EPINET supports an initiative known as Measurement Based Care for patients who have been diagnosed with a psychosis spectrum illness (such as schizophrenia). EPINET has five participating clinic sites: The University of Minnesota Physicians Department of Psychiatry - Riverside Clinic; The University of Minnesota Physicians NAVIGATE Program - St. Louis Park Clinic; The HOPE Program - Hennepin Healthcare; the Human Development Center - Duluth; and Radias Health. As part of this initiative, we have implemented standardized assessments as standard of care in the early psychosis treatment model. We have identified several patients who have data missing within the electronic data capture platform, and some of this data can be recovered through reading medical charts, such as progress notes. In some cases, data is present in the database, but it has errors in formatting, which is causing an error when we attempt to extract it. By entering this data into our Mirah platform (the electronic data capture platform used in Measurement Based Care activities) we will create a more robust dataset so that we can report this information to the Minnesota Department of Human ervices and the National Institutes of Mental Health. The second project will involve assisting a clinical research team in de-identifying study outcomes from a randomized clinical trial of cognitive training in early psychosis. This project is no longer enrolling, and we are cleaning up the data for creation of a final data set. The data will include text and images which need to be reviewed to remove or redact any personal health information or personal identifying information, such as names, contact information, faces, and so on. There will be another person assigned to this project, and the team will cross check each other's work to ensure accuracy and quality of work. This role will require a high attention to detail and organization, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The data that is accessed in these projects will require significant caution due to the sensitivity of the data, and University Policy, clinic policies, and HIPAA Laws must be adhered to. Training in Good Clinical Practices for Research, Data and Information Security, and Electronic Medical Systems will be provided. How To Apply Applications must be submitted online.
