Data Analyst- Healthcare

FCA is excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Data Analyst. The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to behavioral health services.

This role supports the improvement of patient outcomes, enhances service delivery, and informs strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. The analyst collaborates with clinical teams, administrators, and compliance professionals to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. The Data Analyst offers innovative technical solutions to streamline workflows and processes.

Specifically, the responsibilities and qualifications of the position include:

Responsibilities

  • Develop reports and dashboards using SQL, Excel, R/Python, and Tableau

  • Automation of processes using Python, R, Microsoft Power Automate, batch scripts.

  • Support the building, development and/or implementation of defined risk models focused on medical, behavioral health and socioeconomic factors.

  • Conducts research and develops statistically sound reports on various population health studies.

  • Work with program leadership to develop, refine, and test workflows.

  • Manage relationships and trust with funders and regulatory offices and work to understand programmatic operations to deliver pro-active reporting.

  • Miscellaneous data/IT tasks

Qualifications

  • Possess an undergraduate degree in computer science or healthcare related field.

  • 3-5 years' work experience in healthcare related field

  • Database experience writing SQL queries, 3-5 years preferred

  • Knowledge of clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, NDC); application within the behavioral health area is preferred.

  • Strong coding skills for data analysis and data manipulation

  • Hands-on experience with a behavioral health focused electronic medical record (preferred)

  • Detail oriented with ability to manage projects independently.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Other skills/knowledge: Networking, VPN, VOIP, Web Development, Application Development, AWS, Windows Server, Linux, PHP, HTML, JavaScript

Compensation Information

  • The competitive compensation range is reflected with FCA's framework, culture, and values. Individual pay decisions will vary based on skills and experience' while still allowing for growth.

Additional Information

  • Salary: $70,000-95,000/annually

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

  • This role is full-time (35 hours/week), Exempt.
