JOB REQUIREMENTS: Warehouse Employee - 6325 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Able Distributing is one of those trade names and is looking for a Warehouse Employee at their West Allis, WI location. About the Role: You will: * Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material. * Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure. * Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. * Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle. * Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations. * Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier. * Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely. * Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels. * Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets. * Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues. * Assist co-workers in servicing customers.
