The summer internship is typically 12 weeks in length beginning mid-May through mid-August (depending on your schedule). In this role you will: The summer internship offers exposure to a variety of engineering experiences while working on real-world projects. Anticipated tasks include preparing civil engineering drawings with Civil 3D, performing storm water calculations, using HydroCAD software, researching storm water regulations and site plan approval requirements, reviewing geotechnical reports, and collaborating with project team members to complete your work. You may also have the opportunity to visit construction sites for information gathering and observations. You will need to have: Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in site development and an emphasis on environmental, geotechnical, transportation or water resources engineering from an ABET accredited program, and must currently be in their junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in a graduate program.
