The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years\' experience working with the application of material handling solutions. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will do in This Role: Participates in the concepting and estimating of mainly low to medium automation MHE systems. Helps develop system concept layouts and proposal drawings. Thoroughly understand customer RFPs, specifications, and requirements Technical expert in a discipline (controls/electrical/mechanical) or a technology set or global key accounts - responsible for the correct and consistent application of said expertise across relevant projects. Project lead responsibilities for mainly low to medium automation MHE systems. Establish priorities and promote effective interaction between departments. Produces material list of equipment and Mechatronics Engineering cost. Submits quote requests to Purchasing and assists in evaluating the quotes from vendors. Reviews estimating inputs for completeness, accuracy, and compatibility. Create cost breakouts and bridging as required. Responsible for completing change order quotations. Maintains a complete set of project engineering records on all assignments. Participates in technical reviews and price review meetings. Participates in recommending ideas for improving procedures, quality, designs, applications, and equipment. Responsible for supporting tools and standard work updates. Keep management apprised of quote status. Obtain approvals, as required, for final pricing. Follows company, department and project procedures, work instructions and practices. Keeps abreast of the latest company product design and developments, and current costing. This position includes possible assignments to the AE Controls or Mechanical Department.
