This position is a support position to our parts sales staff. This person will work in a small group to achieve a common goal. This position will work with all parts sales staff and management to coordinate the most effective shipping rates to our out of state customers. Understanding of computer programs and ability to problem solve on a daily basis are needed. This role is an important function to our store because it handles behinds the scenes work that allows our sales staff to remain more productive. This role helps to keep our department neat, clean and organnized. Responsibilities: * receiving incoming stock * Putting parts away in the proper bin locations making sure bin location is updated * Handle outbound shipments through several different shipping companies, making sure we are shipping by most economical means possible * Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts * Maintain neat and clean work area * If needed obtain HazMat certification for shipping * Assist other staff with their roles during times of vacations or shortages Qualifications: * Extreme attention to details * Excellent communication skills * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to lift, and carry up to 40lbs on a frequent basis * Ability to problem solve * Ability to traverse stairs on a daily basis * Basic housekeeping skills (sweep, empty garbage, and break down cardboard boxes)
