Responsibilities

• Setup the operation of flexographic printing press (10 color press).

• Ensures all product quality, safety and production standards are met Complete documentation accurately.

• Change and install print cylinders and anilox rolls.

• Change deck parts and ink pumps Set print cylinders into register.

• Check proper tension settings, verify repeat lengths, minimize curling, correct adhesive weights, and roll appearance and colors are correct.

• Use QC tools to test protocols to monitor quality.

• Monitor and complete viscosity control and log Color match each color to customer.

• Maintain cleanliness in work area Any other tasks requested by supervisor.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as a printing assistant or operator.• Must have mindset to work safely.• Must be able to work in a moderate to loud environment (PPE provided).• Position involves bending, twisting, reaching overhead, kneeling.• Must be able to correctly match colors.• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.• High school diploma or equivalent.
