The Plant Manager leads the overall strategic, tactical and financial operations of a chemical process manufacturing facility of various size, complexity and volume by: Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees while complying with all local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations and company guidelines Developing and implementing a solid strategic plan for the plant while balancing its immediate needs with the long-term goals of the company Fostering an inclusive and positive team environment that provides an open exchange of ideas stressing honesty, integrity and respect and providing open participation to achieve desired results Providing high quality services, processes, programs and products to internal and external customers while consistently seeking ways to improve outcomes and enhance service Modeling positive leadership through open and effective communication, motivation, example setting and best practices Delivering appropriate advice, on-going feedback, support and resources to improve effectiveness of individuals and teams EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (required unless otherwise stated) B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline Eight to 15 years of experience, depending on plant size, in a manufacturing environment in roles...
