BRIGGS & STRATTON LLC Payroll Specialist in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - As a Payroll Specialist your goal is to complete payroll processing & all aspects associated with it. You\'ll review, reconcile, audit & balance payroll documents/files to ensure practices are following company policy as well as regulatory guidelines. You\'ll provide customer service for all employees and third party vendors associated with all aspects of payroll. You\'ll also assist with training staff on new procedures and systems and oversee the preparation of special payrolls. You will do this by: Performing tasks associated with payroll processing which includes: procedures, auditing, reviewing, balancing, data entry, processing (calculating & confirm), reporting & transmissions to vendors. Producing ad hoc reports for various departments for Corporate requirements. Completing internal and external reporting to ensure customer needs/requirements are met. Performing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tax payments and filing with Federal, State and local agencies. Maintaining accurate record keeping and supporting spreadsheets and documents for all filings and payments. Administering and overseeing all tasks associated with expatriate payroll processing and special payrolls. Ensuring specific compliance requirements are administered timely including but not limited to: DOL, IRS, FLSA, Federal & State regulations, garnishments, levies, court orders, company policy, direct deposit, W-4, escheated property, Sarbanes Oxley audit, internal procedures and record retention. Provides Customer Support including training aspects of Payroll. Participating in timekeeping update/upgrade testing.
