JOB REQUIREMENTS: Manager, Marketing Systems & Data US-Washington DC \| US-IL-Chicago \| US-WI-Milwaukee ID 2024-3087 Category Business Development & Marketing Type Regular Full-Time FLSA Status Exempt Scheduled Hours 40+ Workplace Hybrid Overview The Manager of Marketing Systems & Data is a senior leader capable of taking a pragmatic view of business and technology, to drive ROI across individual systems while increasing profitability for the firm. This role will serve as a service provider to both the Business Development & Marketing department and the firm as a whole, as both a collaborative resource and driver of innovation. The Manager is responsible for ensuring marketing technology and the marketing technology team operate as efficient and accurate stewards of technology to the firm. A core responsibility is the CRM or Client Relationship Management system which requires both systems knowledge and strong data analysis skills. An important part of that system is the firm\'s Experience tracking database which is essential to our ability to drive new revenue. The person in this role must be interested in, and skilled at, managing data so they can lead the way with a data driven strategy at the firm. As all lawyers at the firm use the CRM system, a strong aptitude for customer service and an understanding of professional services organizations (like large law firms) is important to success. Further critical to success will be the ability to collaborate with others during the development of new strategies, features/system enhancements, and processes. The ability to optimize the operational use of the CRM system and the data within, is the main focus of this role; however, there will also be the need to enhance our technology stack with new systems and services. Responsibilities Serves as the primary manager of the firm\'s Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and team with a focus on continuous improvement and enhancements to better meet the needs of the firm. Leads the marketing technology team so as to raise the bar on quality control of technology and data. The CRM system has a wealth of data that needs continuous \"cleaning\" and that can power better, more strategic decisions at the firm with enhancements to our data strategy and reporting tools. Oversees a data strategy that ensures accuracy of data in the CRM (and related systems) while ensuring continuous improvement of the data and reports available. Leverages reporting tools such as Microsoft\'s Power BI (and others) to provide new and better ways for the firm to access data, with a goal of enhancing our ability to make strategy decisions and drive profits.
