Job Title: Manual Machinist

Job Description

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.

• Plan and complete setups from detailed manufacturing drawings and programs.

• Setup, operate, and perform edits on Vertical Machining Centers in a short run close tolerance job shop environment (3-5 setups a day).

• Select appropriate tooling and fixtures based on materials and tolerances called out.

• Manage and organize workflow according to order dates and routing details.

• Take an accurate account of setup and run times.

• Report to the machine shop manager on a weekly basis to ensure workflow status and order dates are met on time.

This is a fully on-site position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

1st shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm

2nd shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm

3rd shift: 10:00pm to 6:30am
