Job Overview Senior Technical Instructors are responsible for developing and delivering training programs which support Komastu\'s product initiatives not only to our customers but internal Komatsu personnel and Komatsu International subsidiaries. Ultimately, the objective is to offer high level technical knowledge to support P&H Mining Products/Systems, thus improving customer confidence and product reliability. Delivery of the courses will be offered in numerous venues and locations throughout the globe. Key Job Responsibilities Development and evaluation of course content for relevant Komatsu and P&H Mining Products/Systems. This will include developing objectives, competencies, lesson plans, instructor guides, assessments, training materials, and hands-on lab exercises to be used for both in-house and field courses. Follow traditional design processes, such as ADDIE. Establish the means to deliver the developed training. Facilitate training events as they come into our department schedule. Prepare materials, set up the training site, and ensure the training logistics are there for the training event to go as smoothly as possible. Refine and keep current with the latest course content via product improvement and industry standards needed to conduct relevant and timely training. Assist in developing manuals as required. Assist in testing Komatsu and P&H Shovels, Drills, and Draglines when necessary. Qualify regional trainers as defined by the department\'s plan. Assist with keeping the technical training lab components up to date and relevant for training purposes.
