FTE: 0.500000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: With the assistance and guidance of the Imaging Education Coordinator, responsibilities include enterprise-wide education and training for both imaging department and non-imaging department medical, technical, administrative and support staff. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to training of EMR, RIS, PACS and Voice Recognition systems, including system use, workflow, error recovery, and quality management. Assesses, delivers, monitors and evaluates training initiatives for Imaging Services medical and clinical staff. Evaluates, recommends and implements department quality improvement processes. Member of Image Quality and Quality Improvement Committees. Maintains staff educational records. Coordinates department tours, as needed. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of three years of experience in healthcare environment. Five years clinical experience in Medical Imaging is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. Bachelor\'s degree in healthcare field, education, or related field is preferred. Five year\'s clinical experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor\'s degree.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: The ability to demonstrate effective knowledge transfer in a teaching environment. High degree of skill using a variety of computer systems. Experience with curriculum development, adult education theories and methodologies, and objective writing, preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Appropriate professional credentials as required by candidate\'s professional discipline (eg: ARRT/WI license - Rad Tech; ARDMS - sonographer; ARRT or CNMT for NucMed Tech, etc). BLS certification (CPR) upon hire or within 90 days of hire date.
