HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST (1st Shift) The Human Resources Generalist will assist the Director of Human Resources in developing, managing, and coordinating human resource policies, programs, and procedures to maximize production efficiency and contribute to the attainment of the company\'s revenue and profit goals. DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Perform all phases of the employee recruitment process (i.e., write job ads, interview, test, and assist in the selection of applicants). Processes weekly and bi-weekly payrolls. Assist with wage and salary changes in accordance with company guidelines. Conduct wage surveys within the labor market to determine competitive wage rates. Create, maintain, and conduct on-boarding surveys and exit interviews; analyze data to gauge employee satisfaction as well as trends or patterns; notify appropriate individuals and/or departments of applicable information. Complete required documentation associated with employee actions such as hires, terminations, leaves of absence, transfers, etc. Develop and conduct employee and management training on topics such as interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, FMLA, sexual harassment, etc.; serve as a back-up for conducting new hire training and orientation. Assist employees with benefit administration (i.e., new hire enrollment, annual open enrollment). Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; review and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual; recommend policy changes to management to ensure company compliance.
