Job Description Position Summary: As the Head of Platform Software Engineering, you will lead the development of our platform engineering initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency in supporting our products and services. We ask that you have a deep technical understanding of platform architecture, leadership acumen, and the ability to collaborate across teams to inspire creativity and operational excellence. You will manage a muti-faceted team and report to the Senior Director, Software Engineering - Plex. Your Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Define and drive the platform strategy, ensuring alignment with the company\'s overall technology and business objectives. Architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance platforms to support current and future business needs. Promote engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance monitoring. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Oversee hiring, onboarding, and professional development of team members to build a high-performing engineering organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, infrastructure, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution.
