Job Title: Low Voltage Lead Technician

Job Description

The Low Voltage Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing and executing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including but not limited to, security systems, fire alarms, audio/visual systems, telecommunications, and networking. This position requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients. The lead technician will work remotely completing low voltage system installations in the Waukesha/Milwaukee and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems.

  • Install and service security systems, fire alarms, audio/visual systems, telecommunications, and networking.

  • Inspect and construct low voltage systems, including pulling wire and data cables.

  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-disciplinary projects.

  • Provide excellent customer service and act in a professional manner.

  • Work independently and as part of a team with little to no supervision.

  • Travel within the region and out of state to complete projects for national clients as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in the installation and service of Structured Cabling, Video Surveillance, Access Control, or Nurse Call systems.

  • 1+ years of experience in the installation and service of Fire Alarm Systems.

  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Good writing and communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Willingness to learn new systems and take on complex technology projects.

  • Ability to collaborate with team members and clients.

  • Willingness to travel within the region and out of state.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
