FTE: 0.001000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The clinicians functioning as Exercise Physiologists are responsible for orienting, monitoring and evaluating patients receiving either Exercise Myocardial Perfusion or Pharmacologic stress tests. The clinicians are also responsible for maintaining good flow for all tests in order to minimize wait time for all patients. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor\'s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field is required.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Knowledge of basic 12 lead ECG, arrhythmia recognition, preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ACLS certification is preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
