Job Title: Electrical Sales Engineer

Job Description

The Application Engineer prepares technical proposals by working with customers and salespeople to gather system requirements for automation/control and data management. This role acts as the liaison between the customer, sales, and the engineering team to manage complex technical issues and develop concise, simplified quotations.

Hard Skills

• Developing specifications and performance requirements for automation/control systems

• Calculating cost analysis for integrating custom features

• Setting up equipment and developing demonstration standards

• Conducting needs analysis and documenting process flow

• Analyzing alternative techniques and methods

• Assisting with product design, development testing, and implementation

• Creating specifications, price sheets, estimating worksheets, and standard quotations

• Technical fluency in identifying process flow, electrical schematics, P&ID, and application of PC/PLC automation control systems
