The Department of Educational Psychology trains the next generation of leaders in school and clinical mental health counseling, school and counseling psychology, learning and development, and educational statistics and measurement.

Job Summary

The Department of Educational Psychology announces a non tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor position in MPCAC -accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. This is a full-time (12-month) renewable appointment to begin August 2024.

The successful candidate will (1) teach master’s level counseling courses (2) serve as Practicum Coordinator to the program, (3) serve as a core faculty member and attend department and program-related functions (e.g., program faculty meetings).

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in clinical supervision and experience coordinating clinical training. The program has a strong commitment to culturally informed and equitable care. Minimum Qualifications

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling or related field

  • License eligible at least at the master’s level in counseling or related field

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience coordinating counseling practicum or internship programs

  • Experience in graduate level teaching and/or clinical supervision

  • Experience working in diverse counseling settings (e.g., community agencies, schools, hospitals)

    Target Salary Range $58,000 - $66,000 (Final salary offer based on experience)
