This position reports to the Facility Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of repairs and preventative maintenance according to procedures on building systems like production equipment, plumbing, basic electrical, burned-out light bulbs, light fixtures, outlets, switches, bathroom and drinking fixtures. Perform monthly machine maintenance and keep accurate records. Maintains the grounds by performing activities, such as garbage dumpster duties, mowing lawns, trimming hedges, disposing of refuse, and snow removal. Paints and performs basic structural repairs to furnishings of buildings. Moves, assembles, unloads, and stores furniture, equipment, shelving, and supplies. Monitors and maintains supplies and tools, requesting ordering as necessary. Runs errands and pick up supplies and parts as requested. Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Required Experience Prior maintenance experience in warehouse/manufacturing setting or equivalent High School diploma Prior forklift and scissor lift (certification a plus) Prior experience using a variety of hand power tools/machines including saws, drills, and electrical testers Prior experience organizing and performing work in a fast passed environment Prior experience working independently and, on a team, About Us: At TAPCO, our mission is to enhance transportation and personal safety in our communities through innovative solutions and products.
