Are you a passionate marketeer who wants to positively impact the lives of those with or caring for someone with T1D (Type 1 Diabetes)? You may have medical device or pharma experience and you do understand the power of brands. Sitting on the EMEA reimbursement and health economic team you will help create campaigns address to payers highlighting the profound impact Medtronic devices can have on those living with T1D to increase access.

A Day in the Life

• Establish deep expertise on the target Diabetes payers’ segments across the Region and ensures this expertise gets integrated purposefully into the market access strategy.

• Conduct market analyses to maintain an appropriate level of understanding of health care financing, organization, systems and standards for care delivery, developing insights that can help improve market access programs with Diabetes budget holders.

• Orchestrate and integrate elements of customer experience together with health economics requirements to develop tailored value propositions for market access purpose and brand preference.

• Look for opportunities to continuously optimize the payer’s customer experience, establishing metrics that can help measure the engagement of the customer segment where possible.

• Interact directly with product managers to customize the value proposition for the different target audience (NHS, insurers, local payers, hospital budget holders….).

• Provide internal and external training on key market access topics in line with the communication strategy for the different segments and customers.

• Collaborate with Patients and HCP marketing to align value offering across the different groups and customers.

Must Haves

• At least 5 years’ experience in payers communications in a healthcare environment at a medical device or pharmaceutical or biotechnology or a specialist consulting company.

• Postgraduate degree in Economics, Marketing, Health Economics or Life Science.

• Track record of developing and delivering marketing and communication strategy for payers.

• Experience with strategic marketing value story development.

• Experience with customers segmentations.

• Good understanding of heath economics principles.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) language.

Nice to Haves

• Second European language.

• Experience with Diabetes.

• Good knowledge of Reimbursement systems (major Europe) and understanding of different payers archetypes across EMEA.

• Expertise in clinical marketing
