About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SSC Group HoldCo Accounting Team Manager to oversee the accounting and reporting functions for our Group Holding Companies. This role involves leading a dedicated team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing support across various team functions.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    Manage SSC Group Team

  • Responsible for managing the SSC Group HoldCo Accounting team

    Reporting and internal controls

  • Periodic reporting of our financials

  • Overall responsibility for Group (and statutory) reporting. Responsible for performance and documentation of internal controls related tasks for Swedish HoldCo’s (Impairment tests, reconciliations etc.)

    Balance Sheet Accounts

  • Responsible for securing periodic and monthly reconciliations.

  • Responsible for team reporting in balance sheet software programs when applicable.

    Profit and Loss Accounts

  • Responsible for review of profit and loss accounts in cooperation with Business Controllers

    Intercompany Balance

  • Leadand support Accountant in the periodic intercompany reconciliations.

    Other tasks

  • Any day-to-day or ad-hoc responsibilities or other tasks within Finance & Administration relating to the Swedish Holding companies

  • Participate/manage improvements projects and other projects also driven by Group

  • Back-up for various tasks of Senior Accountant (AP, AR, BS reconciliation, Cash Management, Acquisitions, Loans and Interests)

    You are expected to have:

  • Academic degree in Finance. Advanced degree or relevant certifications

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of finance experience

  • Thorough understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.

  • Experience working in an ERP system / US GAAP is preferred

  • Experience of preparing Annual reports Proficient in systems and quick to adapt to new ones, with strong skills in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
