We are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our team for CUMMINS Peschiera Borromeo, Milano.

We're hiring a Project Engineer with strong technical expertise and proven problem-solving skills. You'll collaborate closely with sales teams and project managers, providing technical support and ensuring successful project execution.

Your tasks

  • Review technical specifications and assist the Sales Team in selecting the best technical solution for customers.

  • Collaborate with consultants and engineers to develop installation requirements for generator packages.

  • Provide technical support to the project execution team, ensuring successful project delivery working closely together with the project managers.

  • Apply expertise in generator application, selection, and sizing.

  • Provide technical support to customers, strategic suppliers, and internal stakeholders in all aspects of genset application, control, and installation.

  • Display deep knowledge of Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment, essential for genset installation, including subsystems such as ventilation, cooling, fuel systems, auxiliary power, noise reduction, and emission compliance.

  • Utilize project execution experience to continuously improve PowerGen project offerings.

Your profile

  • Prior experience in a similar role and industry.

  • Strong communication skills, proficient in Italian and English.

  • Strong technical background in power generation, preferably diesel or gas.

  • Electrical and/or mechanical background.

  • Willingness to travel (less than 30% of the time) for supplier visits, customer visits, and site visits within Europe, depending on project requirements.
