Copeland creates sustainable and efficient residential, commercial and industrial spaces through HVACR technologies and protects temperature-sensitive goods throughout the cold chain. Our company brings comfort to people globally. For our Mikulov plant we are looking for a colleague for the position of Lean Champion. The Lean Champion is responsible for leading the application of Lean Principles along with driving continuous improvement and process efficiency. You will be a part of a project team for the start of a new production, responsible for an internal product flow, including a supply chain.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Being a part of a project team for the start of the production of scroll technology compressors, responsible for an internal product flow, including a supply chain

  • Leading the application of Lean Principles along with driving continuous improvement and process efficiency

  • Development of team members in Lean Principles and continuous improvement

  • The initial focus will start with logistics strategy to develop and streamline process and procedures

  • Being the owner of the know-how of process improvements for our Copeland Mikulov plant

  • A „value stream“ map and defining strategic projects for our key plant KPIs

  • Providing kaizen events and workshops

  • Definition and coordination of strategy in lean management

  • Get familiar with the production of scroll compressors in our affiliated plants

  • Definition of a right technology for manipulation and storage of compressors, including the ordering agenda, installation and qualification

  • Creation of a training matrix in an assigned area and providing training across all the departments

Ideal candidate:

  • An university degree (preferably in a Technical field, Logistics or Lean Management)

  • 5 years experience at the similar position

  • Knowledge of a “Value stream” map

  • Using of continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma certification is an advantage)

  • English language on a communicative level

  • Used to team work, leading of Kaizen events and workshops
