Purpose

To develop relationships with clients to acquire new business , network with existing customers to retain the business & meet sales goals

Responsibilities

• Define account objectives, develop strategy, implement through account plan

• Develop successful working relationship with (new and existing) clients across all levels of customer organization, influencing their choice of suppliers and establish Dsm-firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business

• Anticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities

• Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients (including fragrance/flavor/ingredient submissions)

• Oversees entire value chain: product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure highest customer satisfaction and maximum value extraction

• Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives

  You Bring

• Tertiary qualification (business administration, economics, marketing, science...).

• 5+ years sales experience.

• Ability to develop solid account plans to category plans.

• Advanced Sales and Negotiation skills.

• Extended product expertise (product, market, consumer, technical/technology) and passion for fragrance/flavours/Ingredients.

• Ability to define, prioritize and implement action plans according to business opportunities and success factors.

• Flavour or Fragrance industry experience would be advantageous.
