Description

We are seeking a Sales/Business Development Manager for a respected client in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in poly pipe, pit liners, and secondary containment sales.

The successful candidate will be proficient in business development, generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The role involves consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets within the oil and gas sector, specifically targeting companies that require poly pipe, pit liners, and secondary containment solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales in poly pipe, pit liners, and secondary containment solutions, focusing on the oil and gas sector.

  • Formulate, develop and execute strategic and comprehensive business plans that will drive business growth.

  • Actively seek and explore new sales opportunities with existing and potential clients.

  • Deliver excellent customer service and manage the needs of clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize sales opportunities, initiate new projects, and drive growth.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, using knowledge gained from customer interaction and market insight.

  • Attend industry events and trade shows for business development.

    Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • Proven sales experience in the oil and gas industry, with specific focus in poly pipe, pit liners, and secondary containment.

  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills..

  • A good understanding of market dynamics in the oil and gas industry.

  • Proficiency in mainstream computer applications, including MS Office and CRM systems.
