Robert Half Enterprise Risk Analyst in Midland, Texas

Description

We are hiring for an Enterprise Risk Analyst position in the independent banking industry, located in Midland, Texas. As an Enterprise Risk Analyst, you will support the operational risk management by monitoring and updating risk management programs, maintaining governance documents, and assisting in the coordination of audits. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that all risk-related aspects of the bank's operations are effectively managed.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and update the bank's risk management program, including Information Security and Third-Party Relationship Management programs.

• Maintain and track the Bank's Governance Document Tracking system, ensuring all items are completed on time.

• Assist with the coordination and gathering of information for audits, annual reviews, and regulatory examinations.

• Administer the Bank's business continuity program, stepping in as the program administrator in the absence of the Operational Risk Officer.

• Assist in the compilation of risk metrics and preparation of risk management reports.

• Participate in the Bank's Risk Management Committee, aiding in minute taking and report preparation.

• Administer the Bank's contract management program, ensuring all contracts, agreements, and leases are maintained and monitored regularly.

• Maintain and monitor the bank's security awareness training program.

• Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of the bank's security systems, including key, fob, and other access controls.

• Assist in updating and maintaining the Bank's business continuity program, training, and related services.

Requirements

3 years of functional/professional experience required; 5-7 years preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent work experience in the financial services industry.

· Work experience in an audit or risk management role preferred.

· Ability to identify issues and work them to closure, including remediation and escalation where appropriate.

· Strong data analytical skills and proficiency with MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint. Experience with Ncontract services (Nrisk, Nvendor, Ncontracts, and Ncontinuity) is a plus.

· Effective in response to shifting priorities and assignments and ability to meet deadlines and expectations.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels.

· Excellent organization and self management skills
