We are offering an employment opportunity as Systems Support Specialist located in Midland, Texas. As a key member of our team, the selected candidate will provide crucial support to maintain the integrity and standardization of all transactions between Ariba and SAP S/4 HANA. This role is critical in ensuring that Ariba transactions are functioning properly and maintained, as well as assisting to troubleshoot any issues. This position will also support Supply Chain processes configured within SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize, define scenarios, document, and communicate the findings and recommendations of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in a timely manner to ensure the solution meets the business's requirements and expectations.

• Monitor, prioritize and troubleshoot incoming incident tickets assigned to the GSCM Systems Support team and ensure prompt and effective communication throughout the incident lifecycle.

• Identify and prioritize any defects or enhancements that need to be addressed in Ariba and SAP.

• Liaise with SCM, AP Ops, IT, Ariba/SAP Support, and suppliers to resolve any issues experienced by users and suppliers in Ariba and SAP.

• Act as a control point enforcing data consistency across Ariba and SAP.

• Serve as the first line of support for end-user queries, issues, and problems related to SAP and Ariba.

• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions for prompt resolutions.

• Use advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Learn new systems, processes, and applications promptly and adapt to changes.

• Work independently with minimal guidance and manage time effectively to assess and resolve tasks in a timely manner

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with SCM systems.

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with different stakeholders.

• Expertise in SQL and SQL Server for managing and manipulating data.

• Knowledge of contracts and procurement processes.

• Superior time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

• Familiarity with queries and data extraction methods.

• Experience working with suppliers and maintaining relationships.

• Comprehensive understanding of Configuration Management and Supply Chain Management.

• Proficiency in Defect Management and Supply Chain Logistics.

• Ability to work onsite when required.

• Experience with system enhancement and optimization.

• Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ability to perform UAT tasks.

• Knowledge of SAP HANA and Ariba platforms.

• Reporting skills to present data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
